Dear PSAAR friends,

We are glad to announce the 18th CIGAR Workshop in 2026, which will be held in June 22-24, 2026, in Valletta, Malta, at the University of Malta at the Valletta Campus | St Paul’s Street.

The workshop theme is “Financialisation and measurement in public sector financial reporting and management accounting”.

As usual, the Workshop is combined with the PhD Colloquium that will take place on the 22th of June while the works of the Workshop will take place on 23-24 June 2026.On the 24th of June, in the afternoon the IPSASB Research Forum will be held.

Important dates

• Deadline for abstract submissions - 31 Jan. 2026
• Deadline for acceptance of abstracts -28 Feb. 2026
• Deadline for full papers - 30 April 2026
